Dr. Robert Fox

My Story

Prior to his studies at the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, Dr. Fox completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and worked as a design engineer designing patient monitoring equipment. His Nurse Practitioner degree is from Marquette University.

In 2014-2015 Dr. Fox completed a Stem Cell Fellowship through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.  He also completed the Advanced Stem Cell Education Program through the Bone Marrow Stem Cell Institute, Boynton Beach, FL. 

Dr. Fox did rotations at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin (CHW)/Medical College of Wisconsin’s Immunodeficiency Clinic, CHW inpatient and outpatient cardiology, Marquette Neighborhood Health Center, and ProHealth Care. His board certifications are in Pediatrics and Acupuncture.

Dr. Fox started Refua Medicinals, a Nutraceutical/Herbal Medicine company built on 20 years of Dr Fox's clinical practice of seeing what truly works to benefit health and ameliorate disease.  Refua Medicinals seeks to promote health and relieve chronic illnesses, such as fibromyalgia, diabetes, dementia, neuropathy, insomnia, depression, allergies, etc. with clinically proven / research-based nutraceutical dietary supplements. Dr. Fox is also a Tai Chi Chuan Teacher, certified by Michael Milewski of the Tai Chi Chuan Center of Milwaukee.

Practice Interests

Dr. Fox's interests are in nutritional science, functional medicine, regenerative medicine and stem cell treatment; Chinese Medicine approaches to allergies, asthma, ADD, ADHD, diabetes, obesity, multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, complementary cancer treatment, recurrent infections, eczema, and general prevention.
